For over a century, the American Heart Association has made significant progress through the discovery of groundbreaking research that has transformed the landscape of cardiovascular health.

Since the association’s founding in 1924, deaths from cardiovascular diseases have been cut in half. And yet, there are still so many lives to be saved. This means working with every community, and that is why our Executive Leadership is so important. The annual Côtes du Coeur is a catalyst for this work. Our year-round work celebrated at the annual Côtes du Coeur gala inspires community leaders to make an impact and drive breakthroughs in science, policy and care.
