Did you know that heart disease is the number 1 killer of Americans? Hispanics are at an even greater risk for heart disease because of higher rates of hypertension, obesity, and diabetes. Among Mexican-American adults over the age of 20, 33.4% of men and 30.7% of women have cardiovascular disease.
