Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s movement to celebrate the energy, passion and power of women to stand together to wipe out heart disease. The Go Red for Women Luncheon is the cornerstone event of the Go Red For Women movement. This empowering event focuses on preventing heart disease and stroke by promoting healthy lifestyles and raising awareness through the support of the Dallas community to fund education and research of heart related science in women.
The Dallas Go Red For Women Luncheon draws more than 1,300 business executives, medical professionals, and community leaders together.
The Dallas Go Red For Women Luncheon is seeing great momentum and continues to be the No. 1 fundraising luncheon in the nation for the American Heart Association. Beginning mid-morning the event includes an array of activities, such as health screenings, educational breakout sessions and a silent auction. At noon, guests enjoy a heart healthy lunch, personal testimonies by women who have successfully battled heart disease, and a dynamic keynote presentation.
Recent speakers have included Charlotte Jones Anderson & Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys, Former Vice President Dick Cheney, Former First Lady Laura Bush, and Olympian Jackie Joyner-Kersee.

Cardiovascular diseases claim the lives of 1 in 3 women. Killing approximately one women every minute. Sponsoring the Go Red For Women luncheon, allows corporations and individuals to come together to raise awareness and fund research for heart disease, specifically in women.
For every $1.00 raised, $.0.90 cents goes to fund research.
