Heart disease is the #1 Killer of women, taking the lives of more women than the next six causes of death combined. Furthermore, Heart disease claims one woman per minute amounting to 500,000 women every year.
This has been eye opening for me due to the fact that I was always under the impression that breast cancer was the number one killer of women across the country. However, the facts do not support what I thought was the case. The truth is that 1 in 31 women die from breast cancer compared to 1 in 3 who die from Heart disease.
