Martinelli Winery
Martinelli Winery & Vineyards
The Martinelli family has been farming grapes and making wine in Sonoma County since 1860, but it wasn’t until the 1980’s that Lee Martinelli Sr. started his own winery. The Martinelli vineyards are located in the Russian River Valley, Green Valley of Russian River, and Sonoma Coast Appellations. These vineyards are meticulously farmed by Lee Martinelli Sr., and his two sons, Lee Jr. and George, continuing five generations of the proud family legacy of care-taking the land. Winemaker Bryan Kvamme handles the wine with true handcrafted artistry. The wines are neither hot nor cold stabilized, are un-fined and unfiltered, and clarified only by racking before bottling.
Regina Martinelli – Executive VP
Regina Martinelli grew up a Farmer’s daughter in the Russian River Valley. She comes from a long lineage of farmers, starting with her Great Grandfather Giuseppe Martinelli, who planted their flagship vineyards in 1885. Regina’s father and brothers exclusively farm all of the family ranches. Starting at age 6, Regina learned the life of a rural farmer by tying vines alongside her 3 older siblings. This servitude continued until she escaped by attending college.
After college, a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development, and ten years in Corporate America, Regina brought her experience back to her roots, where she continues to share the family history and promote the exceptional quality for which Martinelli Winery is known.
