Heitz Wine Cellars has been recognized as one of the elite wineries in Napa Valley since Joe & Alice produced the first bottle in 1961.

Now spanning three generations, the Heitz family is best known for producing Cabernet Sauvignons which have been internationally acknowledged for their purity of flavor and proven record of age-ability. Heitz Martha’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, long considered one of the iconic wines in the region, was introduced in 1966 as the first Napa Valley cabernet with a vineyard designation on the label.

The Heitz family vineyards now encompass over 400 acres throughout Napa Valley. All of their vineyards are sustainably farmed, and the majority are certified organic
