Chef Donald Chalko started his career at the prestigious Mansion on Turtle Creek with Chef Dean Fearing at the helm. He quickly worked his way up the ranks before moving on to his next challenge, the AAA Five Diamond French Room at The Adolphus Hotel. From there, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and helped open the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas. He was a key player in helping that hotel achieve Five Diamond/Five Star Status in the first year of operation. In 2011, Chef Donald returned to Dallas as the Executive Sous Chef of the Omni Dallas Hotel and has recently accepted the position of Executive Chef for Omni Dallas.

Chef Donald graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Visual Arts. He is married to Darby Chalko and has a daughter, Greer Ryan.
